Mahi tahi - working together

I tenei taumata (1), i te wiki 3, Ko nga tamariki a Space 8 kei te whakawhiti korero e pa ana ki te taenga mai o nga Maori me nga Pakeha ki Aotearoa. Ko nga tamariki, Ko Te Whetu, Ko Takoha, Ko Maioha, Ko Dominic Term one, week 3, the children were learning about the Treaty of Waitangi, and the arrival of Maori and Pakeha in the 1800s and the reasons why Pakeha wanted to come and live or work in Aotearoa. As one activity the children worked in small groups to sequence 6 pictures (events). At which they all had to agree, and also talk about and discuss why those pictures belonged there with some support from the teacher.
